System Data[edit]

In contrast to the depressed mainworld, there are two relatively prosperous planetoid belts, Winsome Belt and Stoneyard. The former supports homegrown Belter communities while the latter is home to a large immigrant community, most from Traa. The clans of each have successfully built starports and other facilities that transcend those of the mainworld.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

This world was the site of a Solomani colony during the Rule of Man. It collapsed during the Long Night, and Farhome remained empty until a second colony was established in 667. This colony exploited the untapped resources of both the mainworld and the system's two planetoid belts. In more recent times, poor planning and subsequent financial struggles have left the world economy in dire straits.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Farhome has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.

  • The highly limited downport is located on the outskirts of the capital city of Silvany. There are no refuelling facilities and the starport is inconveniently located several hundred kilometres from the nearest body of water.

Linguistic Topography[edit]

The most commonly heard languages are:

World Culture[edit]

The depressing musical genre called altDirge originated here.
