Greip does not meet the criteria for any standard classification.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Fteiheiel Subsector of Hanstone Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
This world is part of the Estuary Cluster.
Stellar Data[edit]
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
Greip has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Government (G)[edit]
Greip is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.
- Greip is one of the few places in the Estuary Cluster with a truly unified government, but only because the population is concentrated in a single small city and its outlier settlements.
World Law Level (L)[edit]
Greip has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Light assault weapons, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Technology Level (TL)[edit]
Greip possesses a Technology Level of TL–8.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics, improved telephones, and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Improved geothermal and improved batteries.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Advanced automobiles.
- Water: Triphibians and early artificial gills.
- Air: Improved helicopters and hypersonic jets.
- Space: Space shuttles, early space stations, and improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Economy[edit]
Greip has a modest industrial base and receives a fair amount of trade, upon which its economy is heavily dependent.
