• This world has few prospects for economic development.
• It is a member of the Zydarian Codominium in the Spinward Drift Subsector of Beyond Sector.

• This world was once known as Danaria.

History & Background (Dossier)

Following the social reorganization of the Great Realignment on Zydar, formerly Tirost, the Duality Prophet Zydar spread his rule to neighbouring systems. The establishment of the Star Legion of the Codominium in 962 was followed by its occupation and 'voluntary' conversion of Danaria, which was renamed Zydanar.

World Starport

Zydanar has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Zydanar has a population of 500,000 sophonts (hundreds of thousands).

Zydanar is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.

World Timeline

• 930: Tirost is renamed Zydar when the Duality Prophet Zydar seizes control.

• 936: Expansion of Zydar's realm begins

• 962: Danaria converted and renamed Zydanar

• 964: Expansion is officially halted by Treaty of Nestor.
