Description (Specifications)

The portable kit contains a few of the most basic tools for basic work or repair. The tools come in a small case which can be attached to belt, clothing, or another pack.

Typical Construction Tools

Measuring devices (gauges, tapes or rulers) and levelling devices (plum lines, spirit levels or laser levels), marking devices (chalk, pens, spray paint), lump hammer, sledgehammer, hoe, pickaxe, shovel, spade, piledriver, auger, crowbar, pry bar, digging bar, trowels, float, bolster, grading and levelling tools (screed, line and pins), power saw, hand saw, power drill and drill bits, gel applicator gun, chisels, screwdrivers, smoothing equipment (wood planes, sandpaper), caulking, mortar hawk, bolt cutters, brushes, rollers, rake, wheelbarrow, buckets and containers, wire brush, concrete mixer, goggles, gloves, helmet.

History & Background (Dossier)

The contents of any tool kit should be balanced against its TL. Lower technology kits might contain more primitive or simplistic tools, while more advanced kits might contain sophisticated items such as gravitic rebalancers. The exact contents will vary depending on the size and weight of the tool kit: small kits contain the bare minimum, or may contain ingenious "multi-tools" with a variety of attachments and adapters.
