Hendricks' Hullwerks of North Umber, on the planet of Hanlon (B624776-A) was contracted by the Central Treaty Defense Committee, to build a 300 ton [[warship]].  As a class of [[System Defense Boat]], their design won the bid for a prototype and was awarded an order for seven production models.  They are loaded in pairs on the four [[Euphrates Rio class Fleet Tender]]s.  The {{TL|10}} military design was required to resist ground fire and be capable of dual environment combat within the atmospheres of gas giants, terrestrial planets and in space for the fleet requirements of the [[Jurisdiction of Nadon]].  The military advisers were impressed with its ability to carry and deploy a squad of 12 marines for orbital insertion missions with dual drop capsule launchers and space for 10 addition capsules ready.  The best armor was applied to the streamlined needle/wedge configuration hull.  The fuel scoops mean that it can help skim fuel to replenish its carrier.  It carries the advanced PDE brand model 4 fib computer to provide excellent fire control capabilities, with a powerful ECM suite.  This was due to a fortuitous business partnership between Hendricks and the CEO of Premium Dynamics Electronics, an aggressive manufacturer and marketing force within the borders of the Jurisdiction.  They also provide the guidance packages for the ship's homing and target recognition interceptor missile systems.
