Romar is a poor, nonindustrial desert world with no free-standing water.

• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
• It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Glisten Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector in the Domain of Deneb.
• Romar is sometimes spelled "Romor."

Description (Planetology)

The mainworld has a chilly climate and a thin oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere, and is notable as the source of the narcotic Dustspice, much prized by the Aslan and a major cause of Aslan trans-rift migration after 380.

• Romar contains a significant Aslan population that is known to have been on-world since at least 454.

Romar has two stars in the star system.

In 1117 a group of Aslan ihatei attempted to seize control of Romar and were summarily crushed by Imperial forces.

Era: New Era

By 1200 the population of Romar is 70% Aslan.
