Description (Biography)[edit]
In the last days of the Sylean Federation, Willem DeClark was the Grand Duke of Whitehall. At the founding of the Third Imperium by Emperor Cleon I, the then 21-year-old Grand Duke accepted the non-hereditary Ceremonial and Honour title of Archduke upon the establishment of the "old" order of Archdukes as originally envisioned by Cleon. Archduke DeClark subsequently took almost no role in Imperial government up until the time of his death in 95 at the age of 116. He was still alive in 76 at the time of the founding of the new order of hereditary High Landed Domain Archdukes by Emperor Artemsus of the Lentuli Dynasty.
Upon his death, Archduke DeClark was given a magnificent state funeral with Emperor Artemsus himself presiding, a remarkable tribute considering the mediocrity of his public career.
