Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Throat-Ripper class Light Battle Rider is a combatant warship.
- It is a military ship.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
These are Throat-Ripper class Light Battle Rider, see Battleships, and five can be carried by the fleet tenders. They are heavily armored streamlined cone structures with a big missile bay. They must rely on their armor, speed and agility for defense. They carry a squad of marines. The simplistic model 2 computer is a serious Achilles heel in an otherwise strong TL–9 design, they have lousy ECM.
Basic Ship Characteristics[edit]
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
