The Splinters is a coalition of eleven worlds in trailing Kidunal Sector, on the far side of the spinward Kolire-Kidunal Sparsity.

The Splinters are indeed splintered, with many of the worlds hosting multiple governments and others noted for highly fluid democratic politics. This doesn't seem to have hindered their prosperity.
