History & Background (Dossier)

During the Psionic Suppressions in the Third Imperium, the Iadr Nsobl provincial council chose Sheklzdibr for settling refugees, with environmental technology and construction assistance provided by the Consulate. Unfortunately, on Sheklzdibr the psionic refugees and their families didn't easily accept Zhodani customs; instead they spread their own unique views. In 925, the Sheklzdibr world council voted to convert all Proles into Intendants by extending psionic training to all regardless of Social Standing. This forced the Consulate to halt further technology transfers to the world (and declare it Forbidden for 25 years). The Tavrchedl' still intently monitored the world but the Qlomdlabr have allowed the planet to continue with its odd new society, even opening it up for trade with the Consulate.

World Starport

Sheklzdibr has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
