History & Background / Dossier

Regal is a struggling world, with extremely limited and inefficient infrastructure protecting its people against the frozen, vacuum-state conditions outside. Regardless of what some paranoid Solomani extremists allege, the difficult conditions are not due to malicious Hiver meddling but to the pride of the local Human culture. The democratic government of Regal is inefficient and fractious, but united in a sense of accomplishment and shared heritage, resisting outside interference or aid. Locals spend much of their time working to maintain their habitats, cooperating to work with limited resources while their elected representatives are free to bicker.

World Starport

Regal has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
