Quelleff is a preindustrial world.

• As a preindustrial world, this planet cannot yet manufacture enough high-technology resources to support a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
• This world hopes to one day be one of the subsector's industrial powerhouses, but hasn't yet realized that dream. The leaders of this world are regularly embarking on trade missions to attract more investment capital, worker-immigrants, and other necessary stepping stones to achieve this goal.
• This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
• It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Narquel Subsector of Diaspora Sector in the Domain of Sol.

History & Background

This world is the Ecclesiasty of Narquel’s primary port of contact with off-worlders.

• Quelleffs population does not adhere to the teachings of the Panamica Orthodoxy, the state religion of Narquel.
• The new Theocratic Administrate (the Ecclesiasty’s ruling body) decided that the spiritual contamination resulting from contact with off-worlders should be restricted to this one world.
• Since Quelleffans are all unbelievers anyhow, further "contamination" could hardly matter.
• Consequently, Quelleffs humble C-class port is overflowing with ships and cargoes.
  • Plans for expansion exist, but in the meantime, a major black market continues to grow in Quelleffs major cities.

Imperial High (Landed) Nobility

Quelleff, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the fiefdom of a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversees affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.
