History & Background (Dossier)

This world honours the religious leader Richard Amil, who led his followers out of the Collective (a now-defunct interstellar state in Gateway Sector, to Coreward) to create their own home on five worlds in Crucis Margin.

World Starport (St)

Prosser has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

• Space traffic control in the Federation of Amil is a bit strange, since some stellar phenomena are considered holy and thus grounds to stop everything and give thanks. Some orbital regions are "auspicious" and permitted only to suitably anointed crews from among the Faithful.

Prosser has a population of 100,000 sophonts (hundreds of thousands).
