The Aslan have settled this subsector extensively. About half the systems are part of a formal "outstate" region of the Aslan Hierate, while the others are currently non-aligned. Politics is vigorous. This is one of the more heavily populated subsectors in Yahehwe, and still spawns additional colonists heading further spinward, along the "lower shore" of the Great Rift.
