Laurent's Dagger is a cluster of stars located within the Where The Stars End region of the Empty Stars.

Details / Specifications

Laurent's Dagger is a long narrow grouping of stars covering parts of Argent Sector, Kalash Sector, Palatine Sector, and Turoman Sector. It is bounded on its spinward side by the Empty Reach and the Emerald Drift Shadow Rifts and on its trailing side by the Laurentine Gulf Shadow Rift.

History

The positions and types of the stars that make up Laurent's Dagger have been cataloged as part of the University of Tal Varisa Deep Sky Program.

The Last Armada is generally agreed to have travelled coreward through Laurent's Dagger as it fled the destruction of Terra and the pursuing Vilani.

The cluster was named for Admiral Patience Laurent, the commander of the Last Armada.
