History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Then known as Ganshas, Kysizi was a major world of the Ziru Sirka. Located along an extensive jump-1 trade route that ran from the Laraa Subsector in Dagudashaag into Arar Subsector of Massilia, Ganshas had a civilisation that prospered for thousands of years under Vilani rule. While Ganshas had only marginal resources of its own, its location on the trade route made it a key world.
At its peak, Ganshas had eight billion people, but then the Interstellar Wars were their undoing. Over half that population died from the effects of the Plague of Duskir, the collection of diseases brought to Vilani worlds by Terrans. For reasons unknown, the Ganshassians were uniquely vulnerable.
