Description (Specifications)[edit]

Editor's Note
The source being referenced gives very different information for the Kebkh:
1) The MegaTraveller Referee's Gaming Kit, Folio 2, published in 1989, describes the Kebkh as resembling a Terran crocodile, covered in short brown fur, and walking on six stubby legs. They have a recumbent posture as opposed to the upright posture of many other sophonts. They are generally nocturnal, spending daylight hours in underground burrows and emerging to hunt at night.
  • An average Kebkh weighs around 100 kg, is covered in a tough leathery hide, and uses teeth and a thrasher as its principal weapons.
  • A Kebkh typically lives for more than 200 standard years, with a lifecycle corresponding to their world's decades-long seasons as it orbits around the gigantic primary star.
  • Kbekh are particularly sensitive to certain tones and frequencies, which can trigger a "flee" response.
2) Marc Miller's Agent of the Imperium, published in 1989, describes the Kebkh as a 5-ped sophont with a prehensile snout above and a similar prehensile excretor below.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The sophonce of the Kebkh is largely unknown within Charted Space.

The source being referenced gives very different backgrounds for the current status of the Kebkh:

  • In the Referee's Gaming Kit, the Kebkh are very much alive, living on a world filled with abundant native life.
  • In Agent of the Imperium, the Kebkh homeworld was scoured of all life in the year 501: the Kebkh and almost everything else that lived on their planet have been extinct for over 6 centuries.

Astrography[edit]

This race is primarily located in the following areas:
