Indshiim Ganme is a nonindustrial world, that requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.

  • In a technological universe, societies without industrial capability generally suffer as nearly all manufactured and high tech goods must be brought in at significant cost.
  • As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
  • It is a member of the Sylean Worlds, a cultural region and full member state of the Third Imperium in the Kaskii Subsector of Core Sector in the Domain of Sylea.
  • Nearly 100% of the official population is composed of Syleans.
  • Less than 10% of the population is composed of other human and non-human sophonts.
  • The primitive native (and submarine) "Ganmeids" haven't been contacted.

Mainworld Data[edit]

Indshiim Ganme is blanketed by nearly constant storms with winds that reach up to 1,200 kilometres per hour, scouring its land masses of all but a few hardy life forms. Huge axial tilt, a rotation period of only six hours, and proximity to its star all help make life here challenging. All advanced lifeforms live underwater.

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Indshiim Ganme is a Meso World between 12,000km and 13,500km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.8G and 1.1G. The horizon will appear about 5.1km away. Vessels with 1G of thrust should check with local starport authorities before attempting to land using emergency power.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Indshiim Ganme has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. A Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear and will likely be easy for most sophonts to breathe.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Indshiim Ganme has 85-95% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few small continents, and a number of islands and archipelagos. Dry land is limited. Wilderness refueling is possible.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

An intelligent species of filter-scavengers that inhabit depths of 20–100 metres appear to have achieved approximately TL1–2. The Syleans have named them the Ganmeids. Most of their structures are built in cavern systems on escarpments and sea mounts.

World Starport[edit]

Indshiim Ganme has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Military[edit]

As with all of the Sylean Worlds save Capital and Yirsh Poy, Indshiim Ganme is demilitarised and has been since the Civil War.
