Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Gniivi Collective uses TL–14 light protected forces units to deploy with their fleet's battle squadrons. They have access to a small pool of 5 ton Attack Speeders and 18 ton Assault Boats. Three squads of thirteen infantry armed with cybernetic power claws, a pair of 2 mm auto sentry flechette burst cannons which fire over their "shoulders", and they are equipped with vacuum suits. Ground model specimens can carry 48 hours of life support. They use frequency agile EMS strobes to confuse enemy sensors and disrupt communications. Each warrior has a slaved anti-grav mobile weapon drone carrying 80 light barrage HE rockets which home in on targets they paint with focused microwaves.
Each squad has its own heavy support robot. Heavily armored with passive EMS sensors, they can deploy four rapid pulse Hellibore fusion guns equipped with point defense fire control.
Officers are usually much older and heavily wounded from their numerous battles. Extensive cybernetic and bionic replacements are common. They never deploy without heavy battledress and two fusion guns and a pair of Fire Support Drones. They have a dedicated map box and battle computer.
Platoons of 46 operatives are common. There are ten platoons in the battalion. Each platoon has three heavy support robots. Each platoon is lead by a single leader. The battalion has a pool of ten leaders. The most senior officer commands the battalion, in addition to their personal platoon. In the event of losses, the next most senior surviving officer takes over. Assault boats can lay down suppressive fire, they are used for medical evac and redeployment after drop capsule assaults. The unit of five attack speeders is used by the battalion leader as a counter attack, strike formation. The typically harass enemy supply lines and logistical support. Extra warriors serve in support roles until casualties require they move up.
