History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Human settlements in this subsector are the result of several waves of colonization, beginning with First Imperium troublemakers encouraged to apply their energies to survival on the fringes, later involving Heroni colonies established by sublight ark, and eventually Third Imperium citizens fleeing the Civil War. The region almost coalesced formally between 700-800 as part of the Krax Confederation, but this didn't come to pass. The Federation of Heron, reconnecting with its colonial descendants, came to power in the trailing part of the subsector, and formed alliances with many factions on the remaining worlds.
