Erlyuwah is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and is also a low-population vacuum environment with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts, warranting hazardous environment precautions.

• Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
• This world is part of the Aslan Hierate, as a world where multiple clans have split control of the planet, in the Teaauhia' Subsector of Aktifao Sector.

• This world was colonized by and is controlled from Ihfaia (Aktifao Sector, Teaauhia' Subsector 0639).

There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. • Crimes of honour involve failure to observe the rituals established for social behaviour. Judgement is made by the pride or clan head, depending on the severity of the crime. Crimes of honour are the most serious in Aslan society; in practice, most are never tried as a duel to the death occurs first.
