Consular Security Research Group
The key concept for this military unit is to embrace flexibility. The Council of Leh Perash has access to a wide variety of organisms with which to breed and artificially select for traits useful in combat. The Jenda and human scientists have produced a genetic arsenal of organic weapon systems. These can be combined with mechanically derived equipment to deadly effect. Cybernetics are frequently incorporated into their designs.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
This unit is equivalent to a reinforced company.
HQ and Air-Mobile Assault Platoon[edit]
A large airship, derived from a species of gas giant life, serves as a command and control center and transport for an assault task force. A dedicated command robot directly supervises deployment. The robot uses a maser communication link and has battle computer and mapbox capabilities. Three 2 ton armored assault walkers can be dropped. These hexapods have thick armored exoskeletal structures equivalent to battle dress, and a set of four membranous wings, which fold back under an armored sheath when not in use. They carry defensive aerosol poison gas glands, six crushing clawed feet and have grinding mandibles. They can be directed by pheromones to destroy any designated target and will move in whatever desired direction tirelessly in pursuit of a chemical lure. Despite their size have can still dig and burrow like their smaller progenitors. In turn the walkers are host to a species of aggressive, swarming 0.5kg flyers which have powerful stingers with neuro-paralytic toxin sacs. Their circulatory fluids and bio-electrical conductive medium have a high concentration of hydrofluoric acid, the species originated on a world with a corrosive atmosphere. Healthy breeding swarms, if well fed, number in the hundreds for each host walker and can shred platoons of battle dress equipped troops in seconds. Their sensitive motion detectors trigger a swarming attack within a few hundred meters of their home walker which they protect with their lives as long as their egg masses remain intact within their host. Twelve TL–14 1 ton anti-grav drones are sent to direct and lure these creatures. They are equipped with two x-ray laser rifles and forty two small target designated TAC missiles with either HE or HEAP warheads.
The White Wolves are a group of Vargr mercenaries under long term contract to act as cadre and military advisors. They have their own fully crewed corsair and a nine vargr raiding party. They have combat armor, Gauss LMGs, flash bang grenades, anti-tank mines, breaching charges and snub SMGs. They deploy in an 8 ton G-Carrier.
A human colonel with his second lieutenant Jenda aide, are armed with revolvers and command a team of six clone grenadiers. The clones carry 4cm RAM GLs and wear model 2 Bio-armor. They deploy on 300kg flying pouncers, these engineered mounts have teeth, claws and light strong carbon fiber skeletons. They are agile, quick flyers under all but the heaviest gravities. To prevent fatigue the clones and their mounts are transported to the FEBA on a 200ton hypersonic VTOL scramjet/rocket plane. The fusion powered transport can hover at altitude, open its cargo bay doors and lay down suppressing fire. The crew consists of a pair of pilots, two flight engineers, a tail gunner with a fully stabilized VRF gauss gun, there is a massive bomb bay with GPS and laser designated free fall ordinance, and a fixed forward large caliber auto cannon firing DU rounds. The plane has comprehensive sensors, electronic warfare and jamming abilities.
(2) Grenadier Platoons[edit]
Two human knights each have a dedicated grav APC, their retinue includes a squire. The Squire is a 200kg 2m tall, full combat cybernetic organism. There is a human vehicle crew and three clone grenadiers. They command three more grav APCs each with a squad of ten grenadiers. A scout section of two light grav tanks, armed with a point defense pulse laser and with three crew each and five lancers. The lancers carry laser rifles and TAC missiles, bio armor, and grav belts. One grav mobile weapons carrier with five jenda crew and a mass driven 12cm mortar with laser guided CBM rounds. One EZ class heavy grav tank with three crew and a co-axial VRF Gauss gun and a powerful fusion gun.
(2) Cavalry Platoons[edit]
- Four mercenary Sydite Scouts on fast grav bikes, armed with automatic assault shotguns with flechette rounds, smoke and gas grenades, filter masks and model 1 bio-armor.
- A four legged bio-mechanical battle walker is equipped with organic weapon grafts. These include two gas propelled spike cannons equal to HMGs, and a 20cm rocket howitzer (RAP) with indirect fire control. This creature does not require crew to operate.
- Four security squads: ACRs, model 1 bio armor, eight clones, with an android NCO in a grav APC.
- A field gun section, with one type 22cm artillery rocket launcher, five weapon crew with shotguns, gas grenades, and a signaler with maser comms.
- A fire support section with a grav APC, 9 men, 3 Gauss MMGs, shotguns, and grenades.
- A fire team of four Aslan with battledress, drop capsules, grav belts, FGMP-14s, disposable TAC missiles, mono blades, and 4cm RAM GLs.
- A fire team of four Droyne scout assassins who use their psionic chameleon abilities and Gauss sniper rifles, to eliminate key targets. They have a 2 ton drone air raft for exfiltration.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
They have recruited and hired professional warriors from a variety of cultures. They study them and try to glean information to improve their own forces. They use clones which when wounded gain grafted technology and enhanced integral weapon systems.
