Engineering[edit]

The main engineering section includes:

  • Lights
  • Domestic Power
  • Life Support Power (Port and Starboard separate)
  • Gravitics and Inertial Compensation (Port and Starboard separate)

Additionally, there are separate circuits for:

  • Sensors
  • Main Manoeuvre Drive
  • Directional Micro-Thrusters (Each quadrant separate)

Internal Electronics[edit]

Each space has sensors for:

  • Temperature
  • Atmospheric Composition & Pressure
  • Perceived Acceleration
  • Sound
  • Video

And has a library data port

Each crew deck space has a ship control data port

Engineering has an Engineering Control Desk

The Bridge has 4 General Control Desks

n.b. There is a camera in each of the main spaces including each section of the main lift shafts. There are three in the cargo bay.

External Electronics[edit]

  • Basic Military Lidar
  • Basic Military Radar
  • Basic Military Jammer
  • Basic Optical/IR Telescope
  • Docking Video
  • Low Light Sensors
  • Atmospheric Composition & Pressure Sensor
  • Radiation Sensor
  • Temperature Sensor
  • Running Lights
  • Radar Transponder

n.b. The video cameras are mounted on the 8 corners of the Passenger Deck and the 8 corners of the Cargo Deck - with one additional one on the roof of the sensors bay on the Bridge deck. This gives almost 360 degree coverage.

Weaponry[edit]

  • Disguised Turret: Triple Laser Mount
  • Mixed Triple Turret: Twin Missile Launcher; Sand-Barrel Launcher

History[edit]

  • Built by Becker GmbH on Sparks
  • Laid down in 256. Construction was delayed due to strikes at the yard and issues regarding funding.
  • Launched in 260
  • Ran a route between New Earth and Sparks until 267
  • Business became irregular between 268 and 271, but the route revived from 272 to 279
  • Refitted in 278 following a year of spectacularly good trading on that route
  • In 279, the Captain retires and Jojo Celisse takes over - only to have the competition drive him in tramp-trading until 284
  • This trading becomes more positive between 285 and 291
  • Chartered to the PLDES between 291 and 295
    • Charter terminated because of the increasingly erratic behaviour of the Captain (Captain Jojo Celisse)
  • Arrested by the Belter Navy on suspicion of smuggling in 295
    • Tied up in legal limbo in the Belt's Admiralty Court for years
  • Released from Legal Arrest in 300
  • Unsuccessfully boarded by Pirates while still in dock on Sparks, 300-006
