History & Background (Dossier)

In -2960, the short-lived interstellar empire of the Zhupek Shirkaa conquered this system from D'rarayi. The bloody takeover took three months.

World Starport (Sp)

Berebirenol has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Berebirenol is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy leadership influences policy. • -2960: Several Zhupek warships appear in the Berebirenol System; the bloody takeover requires three months.
• -2959: After conquering Yereng, the Zhupek rule over 9 systems; at this time, they reopen their borders to Zhodani traders.
• -2957: The Zhodani Consulate attempts to move against the Zhupek Shirkaa; recalling the destruction of the old Vlazhdumecta Colonization Sphere, the Zhupek resist.
• -2915: The Zhupek Shirkaa is reduced to D'rarayi after the Zhodani cause great internal strife within the state.
• -2898: A coup by an underground democratic group on D'rarayi kills the last Zhupek-Kehnai -- Emperor -- of the Zhupek Shirkaa.
• 300-420: The First Survey charts the system.
• 995-1065: The Second Survey charts the system.
• 1065: The Second Survey is published.
