Aouakh is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and is also a low-population vacuum environment with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- This world is part of the Aslan Hierate, as a single one-clan dominate, in the Ftyoauial Subsector of Riftspan Reaches Sector.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Officially, Aouakh is controlled by a single-world clan but in practice this 'clan' is an administrative concept only. Most of the system’s population are exiles either sent to Aouakh or granted sanctuary there.
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
Aouakh has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
World Languages[edit]
- Trokh: The universal language of the modern Aslan monoculture.
- Aslan Languages: Note that some Aslan clans retain obscure or archaic languages for personal use in addition to Trokh.
World Government (G)[edit]
Aouakh is governed by a Representative Democracy where government leadership is by representatives elected by eligible voters. What determines an eligible voter varies. The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referenda, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.
- There is significant friction between various factions that have emerged among the exile population, with a small contingent of personnel at the starport charged with keeping order on behalf of the Tlaukhu.
