21st Regency Marine Line Regiment

The 21st Regency Marine Line Regiment was a Regiment sized unit of the Regency and was part of the Regency Marines.

Description (Specifications)

The 21st Regency Marine Line Regiment was a fully equipped line Regiment of the Regency Marines formed in 1140 after the 5500th Imperial Marine Regiment was destroyed at Trin in 1139.

It was one of the last Regency Marines Regiments formed by Regent Norris.

History & Background (Dossier)

The 21st Regency Marine Line Regiment succeeded the 5500th Imperial Marine Regiment in 207th Fleet after the Rape of Trin. Note that the number had originally been earmarked for creation in 1136 for assignment to the 193rd Fleet (Deneb), but this was delayed awaiting equipment and was assigned to 207th Fleet in Trin instead.

The cores structures for this Regiment were drawn from the 5717th Imperial Marine Regiment, previously assigned to the 193rd/303rd Fleet in Gulf Subsector.
