Imperial noble family that holds several noble titles, including the Marquisate of Pendergast.

The Tancredi family achieved prominence during the early days of the Third Imperium. Helmut Tancredi, the founder of the dynasty, was one of the merchant princes who spread Sylean financial influence across the stars during the reign of Cleon I. Tancredis have married into almost every noble family in the Third Imperium and a good many outside it.

Today the Tancredi family holds a few minor counties and duchies scattered through the Dagudashaag and Core sectors, but its real power comes from owning a controlling interest in Ichiban Interstellar and a sizable portion of Antares Holdings. Proxies for these shares are controlled by Annanias Aella Tancredi, the 102 year old (as of 1117) Marquis of Pendergast, who lives as a virtual recluse in the Tancredi arcology enclave on Capital.
