Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance.

The Jewel class Private Yacht is a converted yacht starship.

Description (Specifications)

Designed and built at the deluxe Sharenga (world) shipyards. The Jewel of Queni, is an example of this class acquired by Sir Adam Reyes. His has a battered spherical hull fitted with advanced TL–14 1 G maneuver and jump 1 drives and 42 ton fuel tanks. The scoops and purification permit gas giant refueling. The yacht carries a single 30 ton ship's boat as a service and interface vehicle. The boat can carry the 10 ton ATV. There is also a 4 ton Air Raft. It is armed for self defense with two single pulse laser turrets, which fire as two separate batteries. It carries a personal security detail of 24 marines. The luxury suites and steward's quarters were gutted and replaced with troop barracks.
