The Analex class Brig is a naval fleet combatant, a warship.
- It is a military ship and a Destroyer.
Description (Specifications)
The hull is a streamlined needle/wedge capable of ocean refueling but no fuel purification was installed. The model 9 computers were delivered for installation without the standard naval fiber optical back up networks. A pair of particle accelerator bays are mounted, four fusion guns and twelve beam lasers complete the beam heavy weapons load. Capable of a fleet standard jump 4 and 6 Gs of acceleration, the ship's only defense is its 6 agility. Despite the massive fusion power plants installed, the residual energy was deemed insufficient to power screens. No room was set aside for marine barracks and the hanger was converted to fuel storage tanks.
Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
