The Crusader class Destroyer is an interstellar warship used by a smaller pocket empire.
- It is a military ship.
Description / Specifications
Built for the Amil Federation Fleet this streamlined saucer hull features a TL–11 Jump 2 drive, imported and retro-fitted. The maneuver drive is capable of 3G acceleration, but their is no agility typically available. It is an unusual design because, it is much larger than the typical destroyer and carries a spinal mounted meson gun. It can carry a single heavy 80 ton shuttle. It is defended by five sand caster turrets, light hull armor plating, and the best meson screens and nuclear dampers available. For offense it has five 100 ton missile bays, ten triple beam laser turrets and ten dual fusion gun turrets.
Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
