System Data

Beal-Musuk System

The primary is Beal, an ordinary yellow main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.778 Sols, a mass of 0.96 Sols, and a diameter of 1.299 million km. The inner system consists of (I) an exotic atmosphere radworld, (II-I) an exotic atmosphere stormworld, and (II-II) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world. (III) Musuk orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (IV) an exotic atmosphere stormworld forms the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Ulurdu-Gesh Subsystem

The companion is Ulurdu, a dim red subdwarf star. It has a luminosity of 0.00103 Sols, a mass of 0.081 Sols, and a diameter of 109,000 km. The far companion is Gesh, a dim red subdwarf star. It has a luminosity of 0.00006 Sols, a mass of 0.058 Sols, and a diameter of 73,700 km. The two stars have a close orbit, with a mean separation of 0.002 AU (299,000 km) and an orbital period around one another of 2 hours 6 minutes. (I) an exotic atmosphere radworld, (II) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, and (III) a vacuum iceworld form the outer system. All of the worlds retain satellites.

Historical Data

Musuk was first surveyed during the 25th century and was certainly visited by long-range scout vessels who emplaced a navigation beacon. Its remoteness, inhospitability and lack of resources made it unattractive at best and the system was rarely if ever visited. At some point during the Dark Age the beacon ceased functioning. No official visits to the system have occurred over the last millennium.

  • Physical details about the system and the mainworld are known and available.
  • Details about the local starport, and any indigenous population and their society remain unknown.
