The Zydeterranal class System Defense Boat is produced at the local boatyard on Zydeterranl at the local technology level.
Description (Specifications)
Capable of 6Gs acceleration and carrying a pair of model 3 fib computers, this design is the largest native built system defense boat built in the Zydarian Codominium. It follows the SDB pattern of carrying the thickest armor available and features a fully streamlined needle/wedge hull. It can carry a squad of marines for boarding actions. It is armed with a particle accelerator bay and a pair of heavy missile bays and carries no turrets as a result. It has some agility and twenty-two tons of cargo space.
History & Background (Dossier)
This TL–9 craft is deployed in a three ship formation. There are no fleet tender designs in the Zydarian Codominium Star Legion available to move SDBs this big, so they patrol the system in which they were built.
