Description
Built in small numbers at Keratl/Silver Laurel (Hinterworlds 1730), these are converted merchant free traders. A small amount for reinforced bracing was added to support the hull plates and the engine room was gutted to accommodate the largest maneuver drives and power plants that would fit. The original commercial jump drive was retained, the result is pretty quick and agile. A pair of triple turrets carry a total of four beam lasers and a pair of missile racks. Nuclear tipped ordinance is used to discourage unwelcome visitors.
Some Stalker Yellow Jackets were believed to be built as Q-ships, or as heavily armed merchant ships with concealed weaponry.
