Scybria Jump Hub

The Scybria Jump Hub, located within interstellar hex (1714 Halcyon) within Loran Subsector. A deep-space Calibration Point that was constructed to reduce travel times between the Afkhar Cluster and the Nist Cluster.

Description / Specifications

The Scybria Jump Hub consists of:

• A central 400,000 dTon Space Station
  • The station is generally mushroom-shaped, with the main section constructed in a flattened sphere configuration, a broad cylindrical mid-section housing the major engineering components, and a long lower berthing spire. The station is heavily armored and has multiple defensive points mounting lasers, energy weapons and missiles. Much of the interior is given over to fuel tanks, a fuel refinery, storage facilities, hanger space, crew accommodations and facilities, command centers, and hanger space. The station has full internal artificial gravity.
• 3x Outlying 60,000 dTon Citadels
• A network of thousands of sensor posts, with an approximate diameter of 0.25 light years.

History & Background / Dossier

The Scybria Jump Hub was constructed over decades by the Scybrian Polyarchy.

It was destroyed during The Grand Campaign, in the later part of the Scybrian Wars.

The location contains huge amounts of mines, emplaced by both the Corolian Jurisdicture and the Firstworlds to deny the location to the Scybrian Polyarchy. The region contains large amounts of debris, destroyed vessels, and unexploded munitions.

The Scybria Jump Hub is an official war grave.
