The [Splinter Rifts]] are small Shadow Rifts located within Navarre and Palladian Sector, within the Infinitys Shore region of the Empty Stars.
Details / Specifications
The Splinter Rifts measure around 30 parsecs coreward-rimward by around 20 parsecs spinward-trailing, though some regions are narrower. They link to the Grand Arc in Navarre Sector and to the Bow Rift in Palladian Sector.
History
The Splinter Rifts were first charted by ultra-long-range scans performed by vessels from the Last Armada sometime around 2255AD. Its exact position and dimensions were plotted by the University of Selasia Spinward Survey between 5555AD and 5570AD.
The Splinter Rifts are named for their fragmented nature.
