RSS Tx1503 Received Signal Source Thrax Sector 1503.
Details / Specifications
An anomalous signal originating from a binary star system containing a pair of red main sequence stars. The signal is periodic, unmodulated, and in the 2-3 GHz range.
History
RSS Tx1503 was detected by the University of Selasia Spinward Survey. It became public knowledge following publication of the "Stars of The Rim" Astrographic Survey in 5570AD. The signal may be a false positive, it may be being transmitted by a currently unknown advanced sophont NIL, it may be evidence of Vilani activity, or it may simply be a natural phenomenon.
