This design is a staple of the TL–8 orbital boatyards of Temakurm (Halcyon 1332), and represent one of the major security elements of their fleet. This design serves with the Enlightened fleet. It is an streamlined, saucer fitted with fuel scoops for ocean refueling. These are used for system defense and to attack enemy shipping. This craft carries a triple turret with a missile rack, a pulse laser, and a sand caster. They are fitted with a model 2 bis computer. Despite the massive drives and power plant fitted, which accounts for most of their construction cost, they have some power left over for 4 agility. They are capable of 5Gs of acceleration and the computer's power demands reduces the agility. Squadrons of these ships are found protecting every world in the Enlightened.
