Halcyon Sector

A sector at the heart of the Distant Fringe region. It contains 218 systems and has a population of 39.0 billion Sophonts. Of these around 32.2 billion are humans of Terran descent, while approximately 6.8 billion are various other Sophont species, primarily Esaran and Treehangers. Interstellar states within the sector include The Last Line, the Unity of Sed, the High Senate, Yimin Jiti, the Enlightened, the Bright Conclave, and The Retreat. The Esaran Cultural Area is located in the spinward half of the sector.
