History & Background (Dossier)
It was formed from the merger of two smaller companies on Terra (Solomani Rim 1827).
- By -2407, CLiP had quickly expanded their operations into space, and as the Terran Confederation expanded, throughout the Confederation. They were essential in manufacturing essential military supplies, including the manufacture of starships for the Terran Navy.
- By -2200 CLiP's business was centered in the old Vilani trade areas of Vland, Lishun, Dagudashaag and Core. It was at this time when the company moved its headquarter to Bolivar (Dagudashaag 0240).
- By -2150 the company's focus has shifted again to the Dagudashaag, Zarushagar, and back toward the Solomani sphere.
- Since then the company has risen and fallen with the general fortunes of the Second Imperium and Third Imperium. It continues to be a dominant industrial concern in Dagudashaag, Gushemege, and Vland.
