A flotilla of twelve of these destroyers is stationed at the Gateway (Ga 1220) (world) Naval Base. Locally built these ships are a class of sleek, streamlined cones, with thick armored hulls. They are equipped with fuel scoops for ocean refueling but they have no purification refinery. They can carry a section of marines. This design is used as an escort and are dispatched in small groups to handle patrol and border enforcement duties. They are mobile and visible to dissuade piracy and commerce raiding. This design relies on its balanced arsenal, it has a particle accelerator bay, twenty triple missile turrets, ten triple sand caster turrets, ten triple pulse laser turrets, and ten dual plasma gun turrets. They are 5 G's quick and agile with jump 2 range. They carry a 20 ton gig for the marines for boarding and surface actions.
