History & Background (Dossier)
A barren garden world located in the Sword Worlds Subsector of the Spinward Marches. Steel is one of the Metal Worlds. The world, while part of the Sword Worlds Confederation, was left as a reserve. The Imperium occupied Steel and the other Metal Worlds in the course of the Fifth Frontier War. After the conclusion of the war, Steel was opened to colonization in 1115.
