- It is part of a client state of the Two Thousand Worlds in the Krukurragzal Subsector of Star's End Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)
History & Background (Dossier)
The system's gas giant is home to Jgd-il-Jagd, part of the clade centered on Gh'kabrroo. The K'kree of the subsector think of the Jgd as non-aligned vegetarians, and tolerate their presence.
World Starport
Gnir has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- There is an associated Naval Base.
World Population (P)
Gnir has a population of 10,000,000,000 sophonts (tens of billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
World Demographics
Military
As a Jgd-inhabited system, the vicinity of the gas giant is patrolled by a number of their powerful vessels; these rarely take much interest in outside affairs unless Jgdi interests are threatened. Fuel-skimming a Jgd world is extremely unwise; shock waves from the pass may cause severe harm, and the Jgd are certain to retaliate with high-energy weapons fire.
