Description / Specifications

When it was operational, the Scybria Jump Hub consisted of:

  • A central 400,000 dTon Space Station:
    • The station is generally mushroom-shaped, with the upper main section constructed in a flattened sphere configuration, a broad cylindrical mid-section housing the major engineering components, and a long lower berthing spire. Onboard thrusters and positioning systems are capable of approximately 0.25G. The station has multiple defensive points mounting lasers, energy weapons and missiles. It is heavily armored and mounts ECM, signal masking, damper systems and sandcasters. Much of the interior is given over to fuel tanks, a fuel refinery, storage facilities, and hanger space. The station carries a complement of small craft and defense vessels. The station has full internal artificial gravity, and there are extremely extensive crew accommodations and facilities including a fully equipped surgical hospital. It has a distributed main computer, a prime command center and various section command centers.
  • 3x Outlying 60,000 dTon Citadels:
    • Each citadel is built in a generally ovoid configuration with all of the major engineering components mounted centrally. Onboard thrusters and positioning systems are capable of approximately 0.25G. Each citadel has multiple defensive points mounting lasers, energy weapons and missiles. Each is very heavily armored and mounts ECM, signal masking, damper systems and sandcasters. Much of the interior is given over to storage facilities and hanger space. Each citadel carries a complement of small craft and defense vessels. Each citadel has full internal artificial gravity, and there are spacious crew accommodations and facilities. Each has a distributed main computer, a prime command center and various section command centers.
  • A network of thousands of sensor posts, with an approximate diameter of 0.25 light years.
