The Tizon class Missile Cruiser is a well-used missile cruiser.
Description / Specifications
This class is part of the Narsil Fleet defending the Sword Worlds Confederation. It is fast and agile by sword worlder standards, but carries less armor and no spinal mounted weapons. There is a small platoon of commandoes carried and abundant missile bays.
Hull / Engineering
The hull is an armored, streamlined needle/wedge configuration with scoops and fuel refineries. The ship is capable of jump 1 and 5Gs acceleration. It carries enough fuel for two jumps and has a 5 agility rating.
Main Section
The main hull contains the staterooms and life support equipment for the 272 crew which includes the 31 marines and a 25 ton cargo bay and half ton ship's locker/vault.
Armament
There are fifty triple sand caster turrets organized into five batteries for defense, a repulsor bay, a particle accelerator bay, twenty triple beam laser turrets organized into two batteries, twenty missile bays, and a single battery of plasma guns.
Subcraft
It carries two 50 Ton Cutters, four 4T Grav Tanks, and four 4T Grav APCs.
