This class uses a fully streamlined conical hull and has jump 4 fleet mobility.  Inexpensive for its size, it can scoop and refine fuel from planetary hydrospheres, if need be.  It is equipped with minimal crew, and carries twelve 50 ton cutters and a 20 ton launch.  The 100 security personnel double as cargo stevedores to reprovision fleet vessels underway.  These hulls were originally intended as battle cruisers, however the requirements of the service necessitated they be re-purposed.  The spinal mount and armor was never fitted to the hull.  It carries a frozen watch with an additional 28 low berths.  There are forty nuclear missile bays, and ten batteries of particle accelerators, fusion guns, beam lasers, repulsors and sand casters.  Very heavy armaments for a support vessel.  It retains the 6 G acceleration of the cruiser, but the power plant was scaled back, which results in no agility.  It is equipped with a model 9 fib computer and back up screens.  This design serves with the [[293rd Fleet]], among others.  The expectation is that it travels with naval escorts when operating beyond imperial borders.

This design serves with the 293rd Fleet, among others. The expectation is that it travels with naval escorts when operating beyond imperial borders.
