This polity broke away from the expansive Empire of Varroerth.
As is typical of large states in the Vargr Extents, centralised authority in the Empire of Varroerth is weak to all but non-existent in many regions. It is far from unheard of for groups of worlds to declare independence or form countercultural governments. Most such breakaway factions are eventually reabsorbed. The Akhorgh Seperate has so far endured, possibly because it has emphasised its status as "seperate" (a misspelling of an Anglic translation) rather than simply reactionary.

All member worlds of the Seperate are located in the Veakouna Cluster, which is today more commonly known as the Akhorgh Cluster.
