Description (Specifications)
The Golden Ring is a collection of academic institutions on Vincennes (Deneb 1122). It includes five institutions. These are:
- Golden Gate School
- Golden Horn School
- Golden Harvest School
- Golden Sun School
- Golden Dragon School
Golden Gate and Golden Horn are in orbit near Vincennes' two highports, and are given over mostly to off-world students. The other three Schools are all built near the world's three major metroplexes.

After the Rape of Trin (1139), Vincennes (Deneb 1122) constructed five of the largest and most prestigious universities in Deneb: the "Golden Ring" schools. These attract the best and brightest from across the Regency to learn cutting edge science and technology, economics and public service, psionics and interstellar relations.
