System Data

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

Mainworld Data

Mainworld Size (S)

Banjul is a Meso World between 5,600km and 7,200km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.32G and 0.46G. The horizon will appear about 3.6km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Banjul has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Banjul has 55-65% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Mainworld Geography and Topography

No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.

Non-canon: The Banjul-Isfahan system is a busy system in terms of used space. 8 rocky planetoids, 4 gas giants, 2 asteroid belts and at least 127 moons make this system a nightmare to chart.

Making the job easier however is the fact that there are no habitable worlds in the entire system. Most of the planetoids are just bare rock with the largest one, and the one in the habitable zone, having been hit by a sizable asteroid at some point in it's recent (by cosmic standards) life which appears to have blown away any atmosphere it once had.

Of the moons in the system they vary widely from small balls only 500 miles across to gigantic spheres of violent volcanic activity and sulphurous atmospheres. At least 10 are large enough to maintain an atmosphere, of which none are breathable by any sentient life that we know of. Ice balls, rocks and volcanoes are what this system does best.

History & Background (Dossier)

Banjul is a low-population world with a population less than 10,000 sophonts in population size.
