Antalya is a rich, nonindustrial world.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- It has high-grade living conditions and life on this world is much admired by off-worlders.
- It is a member of the Federation of Alsas in the Alsas Subsector of Far Frontiers Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)
History & Background (Dossier)
World Starport (St)
Antalya has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
Population
4,000,000
Military
As with most member planets of the Federation of Alsas, this world leaves the job of Federation defence to the armed forces of Afellahlah, thereby avoiding the expense of equipping itself but allowing the Afellahlah government a lot of leeway in deciding Federation policy.
