-Suspicious of each other and actively hostile to outsiders, Alejja usually hide rather than fight if they don't have a 2-to-1 advantage. They are hoarders, with excellent memories for the hundreds of places they choose to hide their treasures. Cache-invasion, no matter how inadvertent, results in violence. As of 1105, their society is in the grip of an apparent breakdown, with most areas outside fortified strongholds now essentially lawless.
